Are you asking yourself this question right now?

Believe me, I had been there, and it sucks. You keep living a meaningless life until one day you realize that there is something wrong, something is missing, and there are times you don’t realize it at all. Can you believe that people even die before finding any purpose just because they never thought about it?

Now that we are on it, my first advice is to:

Spare time to think

Once my life was a cycle of eating, sleep, work, and repeat. If you think it’s ok, all people are like that. But that’s wrong there are not many people like that. Your goals, your ambitions, and your life purpose is not a public matter, it’s very private and what you know about others is all that is public.

Think In Spare TimeSo the point is even if it looks like everyone is like that, nobody is.

To find the real purpose of your life, spare some time every day to think about yourself.

Ask yourself this simple question. What was your favorite thing to do in your childhood?

Children mostly do what they like and have passion for because they are yet free from any external influence, so it is all-natural. This will also tell you what your skills are.

If you are still a student that nothing can be better than that. If you are searching for it on Google, you are already on board.

Just make it regular. Keep a journal and record what you enjoyed doing today. So when you go through those pages later, they’ll tell you who you are.

Explore yourself

Exploring yourself is necessary because if you don’t face your different sides, you can never imagine what your potential is. So challenge yourself for various things and actively participate in different school activities.

Extracurricular activities play a huge role in shaping your personality, and you get to know your potential as well.

You can think about what you like to talk about the most, and you do talk about it the most. Most probably, it is your field of interest.

When you like doing something, you increase the time allotted to it, or if you don’t, you still want to do it more frequently than you already are. So think what that thing that you do is and time flies. And you wait to do it again.

Do you look up to anyone? Not as a style icon but for their life. You get the idea, right?

This is not a one day job, and you can’t just decide one morning that this is your passion. And let me tell you people who make decisions like this in the hustle and without much thought quickly abandon that thought as well and even more efficiently.

Don’t push hard

Be PassionateThere are things that you really want to do, but you are not capable enough. You are not gifted with the abilities required for that.

This is where you need to act smartly. Remember one thing if you are passionate about something, and you stick to it and don’t give up, you are going to get it.

There is a famous quote

“If you hang around the barbershop long enough, sooner or later, you are going to get a haircut.”

But I’m not recommending it in the case above. You are definitely going to get it, but maybe by the time you get it, it’s already very late.

So there was a story in which a person wanted to be a court acrobat, but the surprising thing was there was no such position in that country. So he needed to get that position created to be able to get that. So he went into politics worked for years and years and years and finally made that position, and all the others decided that since he worked so hard for it, he deserves to be the first court acrobat. So yeah, he got it. But you know what was said, the fact that when he was finally able to get that position, he couldn’t even perform. He was past that age of performance.

So be smart and find something that is complementary to what’s gifted to you naturally. Make use of opportunities. Determination alone may disappoint you.

Find it

Do some analysis weighing what you like (remember that journal open and get to work), what you can do (your skills) and what the opportunities are.

Find something that satisfies all these things.

Make goals

Set Goals

After finding your life purpose, what you need to do is to make small goals, and each tiny goal should act as a stair to your ultimate purpose.

These small goals will keep you motivated, and you won’t lose your purpose anytime soon.

Losing a clear path of your life is mainly because of the reason that you don’t have everyday goals. Even if you know what you want to be and where you want to stand, without small purposes, you are likely to get intimidated by every other distraction, which obviously will not look like a distraction to you at that time.

Keep yourself strong

By strong, I do not mean to be strong in terms of health. I mean strong in terms of your focus, your dream. Be strong and do not lose focus.

I have seen people in my life who get inspired by others very easily. These people can be easily motivated as well as demotivated.  So every other person becomes their idol and their goals keep changing from one to another.

You don’t want to be like that, do you? If you do, you’ll only make a fool out of yourself.

Remember one thing that even if you are doing what you love to do, you’ll still need to do hard work. Nothing is easy in this world. It’s just that you’ll enjoy that hard work.
